Mikhail Murashko: Russian Health Care Week 2020 will reach a wide professional audience
Russian Minister of Health Care Mikhail Murashko has sent a welcome address to the participants and organisers of Russian Health Care Week 2020 which will be held online next week.
Mr. Murashko points out that this year Russian Health Care Week is taking place while facing new challenges, primarily related to the global pandemic and complications it brings. It is important to note that even in the online format the events will attract a wide professional audience not only from different regions of Russia but also from other countries.
For many years, the Russian Ministry of Health Care has been supporting this country's largest showcase of accomplishments of the medical science and practical medicine, which brings together doctors, researchers, developers and manufacturers of medical equipment, innovative technologies, as well as representatives of government and business from different countries. This year the participants will focus on the functioning of the health care system during the Covid-19 pandemic and other threats. Representatives of different ministries and departments, heads of medical institutions, practicing doctors, scientists and technologists will take part in these discussions.
The minister believes that even online the Week’s events will be meaningful and constructive, and will promote the consolidation of efforts of the authorities and civil society aimed to improve the Russian national health care system and the quality of life of all Russian citizens.
