Evolution in private health care: one of topics of Russian Health Care Week 2019
The 10th Anniversary Russian Conference on Private Health Care: Evolution was held within Russian Health Care Week 2019 at Expocentre Fairgrounds. It was organised by the Association of Private Clinics of Moscow, St Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod and the OPORA RUSSIA Non-Government Association, and supported by the National Medical Chamber and Expocentre AO.
The participants in the event were CEOs of leadings networks of private clinics, physicians, medical marketing and sales directors, experts in medical law, economists, representatives of relevant academic institutions and consulting agencies. The conference programme was based on live interaction of the audience and the speakers. The key topics for discussion were trends and prospects of the Russian health care market, development prospects of private health care and investment potential of the Russian health care industry.
Moderator of the section on Industry Analytics and Investments in Health Care Market, Vice President of OPORA RUSSIA, President of the Association of Private Multidisciplinary Clinics in Central Federal district of Moscow Alexander Grot cited the research data of Health Care Index 2019. It showed a growing demand for private clinic services by the country’s people. This year the share of people who applied for paid medical services has grown considerably to reach 40%. What’s also remarkable is that the customer base of private clinics has expanded through not only high income groups but also average and low income, said the speaker.
During other sections the conference participants discussed the tools and technologies to attract patients and improve quality of medical services provided. They studied the best cases of the expiring year and presented the latest software solutions to be implemented in 2020.
