Greece, Spain present their medical tourism capacities at MedTravelExpo 2019

The Greek National Tourism Organisation held the Day of Greece at MedTravelExpo 2019. Medical Clinics. Health and Spa Resorts with support of Expocentre AO.

Greek Ambassador to Russia Ekaterini Nassika addressed the audience at the opening ceremony and pointed to the good potential of bilateral relations in the field of medical and wellness tourism. “Investments in Greek hotels specialising in traditional and wellness tourism, including spas, have been on the rise in recent years,” said the ambassador. “Many spa hotels have a great variety of mineral springs. They are located both on the seashore and in the mountains and offer the full spectrum of beauty and wellness services.” According to the information provided at presentations, Greece is using about 350 mineral springs for wellness purposes.

Later that day, MedTravelExpo 2019 hosted presentations of leading clinics and wellness centers of Spain.
