Post-release Zdravookhraneniye’2010
The Russian Health Care Week’2010, the main International Research and Practical Forum in Russia in the field of health care finished its work successfully. The event took place at the Expocentre Fairgrounds on December 6-10, 2010.
This large-scale exhibition and congress project was arranged by Expocentre with the support from the Ministry of HealthCare and Social Development of the Russian Federation, the Russian Federation Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Federation Public Chamber, the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, and the Moscow City Government.
The Russian Health Care Week’2010 is a whole complex of exhibition and research events arousing the industry professionals’ steady interest. The Forum comprised the following arrangements: the 4th International Exhibition Healthy Life-Style’2010, 17th International Exhibition Apteka’2010 (Drugstore), the 12th Annual Scientific Conference Stomatology’2010, the 5th International Scientific Conference Sportmed’2010, the International Medical and Pharmaceutical Business Conference and other important ones. The key event of the Forum became Zdravookhraneniye’2010, the 20th Anniversary International Exhibition for Health Care, Medical Engineering and Pharmaceuticals.
The Zdravookhraneniye’2010 International Exhibition is a unique large-scale show in Russia, the CIS, Baltic States and the Eastern Europe countries. It embraces a whole range of medical goods and services.
The high international status of the Exhibition and its significance for the Russian health care industry are confirmed with labels of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF).
The statistics of the Zdravookhraneniye’2010 and Healthy Life-Style’2010 exhibitions obviously showed a scope of the Russian Health Care Week Forum. 1 118 exhibitors from 40 countries demonstrated their products on the total area of 54 419 000 sq. meters (gross) within two exhibitions. This year companies from 10 countries, namely China, Czechia, Finland, France, Germany, Korea, Malaysia, Poland, Taiwan and Turkey arranged their national expositions.
Foreign companies that included Carl Zeiss AG, Fujinon, Philips, Sony, Simens, Toshiba, Vernipoll s.r.l., Westfalia, Stormoff, Liebherr, Balton and many other ones demonstrated their new technologies and recent developments that were essential and of great demand in modern medicine.
The research and practice programme of the Russian Health Care Week’2010 embraced the 12th Annual Scientific Conference Stomatology’2010; Scientific Conference and Round Table Hospital Today and Tomorrow; the First International Symposium on Medical Institutions Management within the framework of the Zdravookhraneniye' 2010 Exhibition; Conference Proton Therapy Systems: New Technologies in Treatment of Oncological Diseases; Sportmed’2010, the 5th International Scientific Conference on the State and Development Prospects of Professional Sports Medicine; Conference on Customs Clearance and Logistics Issues; Contest of socially significant projects in the field of health care and many other events.
Special attention was focused on the 9th International Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists ‘Topical Issues of Sports Medicine, Therapeutic Physical Training, Physiotherapy and Balneotherapeutics’ held within the event. The Conference gathered authors of the best scientific works thoroughly selected by the contest committee of experts. This proves the fact that the worthy young generation of specialists in this field is growing.
Company Euroexpo and RPI Conferences held the International Medical and Pharmaceutical Business Conference within the framework of the Russian Health Care Week Forum. The Conference was focused on creating a unified place to exchange an experience between specialists in the field of pharmaceutics, financing and projects management, to establish business relations and to develop the Russian pharmaceutical market as a whole. Such social organizations and branch-wise associations as Association of the Russian Pharmaceutical Product Manufacturers, the Russian Association of Pharmacy Networks, the Russian Association of Pharmaceutical Marketing and Association of Pharmaceutical Institutions SoyuzFarma participated in the Conference.
Zdravookhraneniye’2010 drew leading domestic and foreign manufacturers of medical engineering, equipment and pharmaceuticals; health care professionals, representatives of governmental agencies and business community as well as medical specialists from all regions of the country. The Exhibition was visited by 24 520 people; 94% of them were specialists of the industry. The total visitor attendance made up 36 650.
Next International Exhibition Zdravookhraneniye’2011 will take place within the framework of the Russian Health Care Week’2011 Forum at the Expocentre Fairgrounds on December 5-9, 2011.
