Forum ‘The Russian Health Care Week’– a key large-scale industry project encompasses leading exhibition and congress shows of the social trend. This event is a major platform to realize the Health Care Priority National Project and the Concept of the health care development in Russia till 2020.

ZDRAVOOKHRANENIYE’2009

On 7-12 December, 2009 Expocentre will host Zdravookhraneniye’2009, the 19th International Exhibition for Health Care, Medical Engineering and Pharmaceuticals.  The Show will take place in pavilions No. 1, 2, 8 and the Forum pavilion of the Expocentre Fairgrounds.  The Exhibition, a key constituent of the Russian Health Care Week, has been arranged by Expocentre for over 35 yeas.

Zdravookhraneniye, the only large-scale B2B exhibition in Russia, the CIS countries and Baltic States, encompasses the whole range of medical goods and services and is a major professional forum of the health care and social development.    

The Zdravookhraneniye exhibition project is organized by Expocentre with support from the Russian Federation Ministry of Health Care and Social Development, the Russian Federation Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Federation Ministry of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy, the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences and the Russian Federation Public Chamber. The event is held under the patronage of the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Moscow City Government.

The high professional level of Show is confirmed with honorary labels of the International Exhibition Community: the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF).

The grouping of the Exposition into thematic sections is convenient for professional visitors.

Zdravookhraneniye’2009 hosts over 1000 companies, institutions and enterprises from 40 countries: Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Brazil, Canada, China, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Luxemburg,     Malaysia, Mexico, Netherland, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Korea, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey,  Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, the USA and Vietnam.   

The Exhibition space amounts about 45 000 sq. meters. 

The renowned foreign companies including Carl Zeiss AG, Fujinon, Philips, Sony, Simens, Toshiba, Wernipol s.r.l., Westfalia and many others will demonstrate their products. 

The FUJIFILM Company is an official sponsor of Zdravookhraneniye’2009.  FUJIFILM being a manufacture of consumables for the roentgenology, multiformat cameras and computer radiography systems aims at the creation of    a medical system comprised innovative solutions to change the pattern of medicine all over the world.

This year the national expositions are arranged by companies from China, Czechia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary and Malaysia.

At Zdravookhraneniye’2009 Russian participants make up 70% of the total exhibitors number. The domestic exhibitors include such companies as Aybolit-2000, Amico Rentgenprom, Bimk-Cardio-Volga, Vital Diagnostick, Globalmedmarket, Mosrentgen, Kasimovsky priborniy zavod, Medtekh, Khrunichev plant, Elektron and many others. 

The Exposition will comprise: medical instrumentation, equipment and diagnostics; innovative medical technologies; primary health care; laboratory medicine; medical consumables, medical clothing, health and care aids; medical furniture; design and facilities for patient care institutions; pharmacological industry; advanced information technologies in medicine; pharmaceutical supplies for hospitals and the population; maternal and child health; dentistry;  rehabilitation and sports medicine; insurance medicine; medical research institutes and medical institutions;  medical treatment abroad, etc.

The visitors will be given an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the First Specialized Medical Supermarket standing exposition of medical innovations. This exposition is the only one in Russia and Europe.

The Zdravookhraneniye exhibition is dynamically developing; the number of professional visitors and participants is increasing; new sections are being arranged. Thus, Healthy Life-Style - Rehabilitation and Prevention Equipment, Aesthetic Medicine, Health-Improving Technologies, and Goods for the Healthy Life-Style, owing to its speedy development during some years, was successfully evolved from the Section of into an international show in 2007.

Healthy Life-Style is a unique platform for professionals of the medical industry to communicate on the international level. The exhibition helps to strengthen the existing contacts with partners and to generate new business contacts. 

Forum ‘the Russian Health Care Week’ and the Zdravookhraneniye exhibition became a traditional meeting place for scientists and specialists, students of medical institutes of higher education, health care professionals and others who are involved in the realization of the Zdorovye (Health Care) Priority National Project.

The Centre for Professional Education and Career in Medicine, Medical Equipment, Technologies, Medical Optics and Optometry was arranged at the Exhibition. Experts from renewed Russian and foreign medical companies will demonstrate the latest achievements in their work with interns as well as professional developing programmes. Lecturers of the Russian leading medical education institutions will tell about opportunities to study at institutes of higher education and colleges of the country, prospects of the graduates’ work at enterprises of the medical industry, and will discuss with colleagues new possibilities to train specialists.

The following Russian leading medical and related institutions of higher education took part in this event: Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry, Saint-Petersburg Medical-Technical College, Tula State Medical Institute, Ryazan State Medical University named after I.P. Pavlov, Moscow State University of Instrument Engineering and Computer Sciences, Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University and Saint-Petersburg Postgraduate School of Nursing.

The Zdravookhraneniye’2009 exhibition will once again confirm its status as the best show for medical specialists.
