Results of the Competition for the Best Project of Private-Public Partnership in the Health Care Industry will be summarized at Russian Health Care Week 2017

The Russian Ministry of Health Care has announced the third Russian Competition for the Best Project of Public-Private Partnership in the Health Care Industry. The information was published on the official website of the Russian Ministry of Health Care. The decision was made at the meeting of the Ministry Coordination Council devoted to public-private partnership.

The announcement of the competition results and the award ceremony will be traditionally held at the Russian Health Care Week which is to run from December 4 to 8, 2017 at Expocentre Fairgrounds. The Week features the most important trade shows and associated events in the Russian health care industry: For Heathy Life International Forum, the Zdravookhraneniye 2017 and Healthy Lifestyle 2017 exhibitions.

The aims of the competition are to develop and introduce public-private partnership in the health care industry, attract private financing for development of the health care infrastructure, and enhance effectiveness of state management in this sector.

According to Deputy Minister Sergey Krayevoy, the health care sector is the leader in the social sphere by the number of implemented projects of public-private partnership. Last year over 70 projects were carried out at different stages. It is planned to attract 61 bln rubles of investments for implementation of public-private projects in the health care industry.
