Expocentre hosts the Russian Health Care Week

Expocentre Fairgrounds hosts the Russian Health Care Week 2016, Russia’s largest event devoted to health care and medicine.

The Week brings together two major international exhibitions – Zdravookhraneniye 2016 and Healthy Lifestyle 2016. This year they occupy more over 40,000 sq m to welcome about 900 exhibitors from all over Russia and 30 countries.  National pavilions are presented by China, Cuba, Czechia, Germany, and the Republic of Korea.  

It is a tradition for the Russian Health Care Week to close a year and sum up its results. Expocentre Fairgrounds offers showcases of all types of advanced medical equipment and products, state-of-the-art technologies, solutions and developments, the latest global and Russian achievements in all fields of health care.  

The exhibitions include showcases of leading research centres of the Russian Ministry of Health Care and the Russian Academy of Sciences, group stands of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, state corporations Rostec and Rusnano. PharmMedProm demonstrates products developed and manufactured by Russian companies with support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The Day of Moscow will premiere at the Week. Leading Moscow manufacturers will show new technologies, equipment and medical products. Presentations and other events will help to share experience between health care professionals from Moscow and other regions.  

The Russian Health Care Week 2016 features a series of events. The keynote one is For Healthy Life, the 7th International Forum on Non-Communicable Disease Prevention and Promotion of Healthy Lifestyle, organized by the Russian Ministry of Health Care. The Meeting of the Medical Prevention Commission of the Expert Council on Health Care of the Russian Ministry of Health Care, and the Award Ceremony of the Russian Competition for the Best Project of Public Private Partnership in the Health Care Industry will also take place.   

The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade holds the Discussion Session on Development of Export of Russia’s Pharmaceuticals and Health Care Products, the Conference on Support Measures Aimed at Development of Medical Products Manufactured by Defense Contractors, and a presentation of diagnostic equipment.

The Week will also include other large forums, conferences, workshops and round table discussions.  

The Expocentre for Counterfeit-Free Exhibitions project aimed to minimize counterfeit products showcased at exhibitions will continue providing consultations on the topics of IP protection.

The Russian Health Care Week, which runs on December 5–9, is organized by the Russian State Duma, Russian Ministry of Health Care, and Expocentre AO, and supported by the Russian Council of Federation, Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Moscow City Government, and World Health Organization.
