Meeting of General Director of the company MedicaTour with representatives of Ministry of Health of Buryatia and the leading medical centers of the region
On August 21 Tatyana Sokolov, General Director of MedicaTour, was invited to Ulan-Ude to participate in the conference "Modernization of Healthcare: Novels, Technologies, Prospects" as an expert in medical tourism and the speaker, as well as for negotiations with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Tourism Buryatia about possible cooperation.
Within the framework of the conference Tatyana Sokolov made two reports:
1) "Medical tourism - branding and promotion of the region" in which a specific plan for the development of exports of medical services in Buryatia was proposed.
2) "The experience of Croatia: IQCure Clinic - the application of innovations in preventive medicine".
Within the framework of the visit, several Buryatia clinics were visited: the Center for Oriental Medicine, the Emergency Clinic, the Republican Clinical Hospital named after N.A. Semashko, the Republican Clinical Hospital, as well as a network of private clinics "DIAMED".
Also very productive working meetings were held with the Deputy Minister of Health of Buryatia and with the Minister of Tourism.
As for exports of medical services in Buryatia, the network of private clinics "DIAMED" became a pioneer of this direction. Patients from Mongolia, China, as well as Buryats living in different countries of the world come to this clinics.
I want to note that DIAMED will participate in MedTravelExpo this year as a representative of this region.
